HIRING: Product Manager (Cloud Computing)

Our client, the world's leading open source solutions provider, is headquartered in North Carolina with satellite offices spanning the globe. The Asia Pacific Headquarters is in Singapore.
The Client is leading Linux and open source solutions into the mainstream by making high-quality, low-cost technology accessible to enterprise customers making Red Hat one of the world's fastest growing technology companies.
Primary Responsibilities:
* To help define the overall product and go to market strategies for Red Hat cloud products in Asia.
* Taking input from customers, analysts, the open source community, and internal stakeholders to drive the delivery of innovative solutions to market.
* Defining personas, use cases, and market-based requirements.
* Align closely with product management and development teams to articulate the product requirements, and to ensure timely delivery of quality software that meets customer requirements.
* Align with product marketing to determine how to position solution to maximize market share and revenue, and keeping informed of competitive product offerings in the marketplace and new technologies that provide market opportunities.
* Prepare white papers and technical material to facilitate go-to-market activities.
* Provide technical product training to professional services consultants, sales engineers and solutions architects, and interfacing with the open source community for your products solution.
Desired Skills & Experience
* 5-10 years enterprise software industry experience in a product management or product marketing role and 5+ years of product management and technical leadership experience within the infrastructure software space.
* Ideally some direct experience managing enterprise system management software products, preferably with operating systems, Java-based middleware, virtualization, and other infrastructure level software.
* At least 5 years of successful product management
* Expertise with enterprise management solutions (virtualization, automation, middleware solutions, and knowledge of open source business models is required.
* Must have a technical BSc and/or MSc degree, preferably in computer science or electrical engineering. An MBA will be highly regarded.
* A background in sales or other customer-facing experience is an advantage.
